Fast and furious, and we are bit short of information on CODY ENGEL so we get that down and also their pictures if we can. We don’t want them to miss out on our treats. We are nice like that. Hopefully life is a little harder for them and it will help save you wasting money sending it to Nigeria/Ghana/Senegal/Côte d’Ivoire/Benin/Togo etc. You have to remember if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and looks like a duck then there is a better than evens chance it IS a duck

INFORMANT:

My friend got in touch with you earlier regarding a scammer I am currently in touch with.
This is the e-mail address he is using codyengelofficial@gmail.com
This scammer goes by the name of Cody Engel and claims to be a Marine Sniper. I met him on a Christian dating application called CROSSPATHS at the beginning of April 2020.
After talking to him on the app for for about two days, he suggested we begin speaking through the phone, google hangouts or Facebook messenger instead.
We continued our conversation for a few weeks. He asked me for pictures, I decided to add him as a friend on Facebook where he would be able to see my images and I was able to see “his”. Although I felt something was wrong with this story. He forwarded via Gmail a Letter of Deployment from the United states government stating he would be getting deployed in two days to Djibouti, Africa. Now I know this was his attempt at an excuse for not calling me when he said he would. After my friend conducted some research online, she found “his” images on someone else’s Facebook and Instagram account with a completely different name. Thus, she was able to ascertain that the person I was talking to was not who I thought he was.
Before contacting the real person *(1) on the images (Michael Iredale), I continued to message with the scammer. Eventually, the scammer did call me from “Africa” but then quickly hung up the phone due to the “background noise from generators”- as he put it, but not before I realized he had a foreign accent. After weighing all the evidence, we came to the conclusion he had stolen Michael Iredale’s images, who is actually a Marine in the Armed Forces.
Our next step was to contact the real Michael Iredale to make him aware of the situation. My friend was kind enough to contact Mr. Iredale through his girlfriend’s Instagram and let her know that his images had been stolen.*(1)
I am still in contact with the scammer because I really want to get some more information out of him **(2). He has already asked me for money in the form of an Ebay card. His reasoning for requesting this card is because he forgot a lot of personal supplies back home and he is not able to use his cash where he is. He requested $200 dollars which I “agreed” to send today. Since this agreement, he has become increasingly persistent. I have no intention of giving him the money, I just want to expose him.
I am not really sure how I should proceed at this point being that he has my phone number and email address, but my plan is to teach him a lesson**(2).

ADMIN:

Pay attention to thе common mistakes made by potential victims contacting with scammers:
*(1). Do not contact the real person whose pictures have been stolen, we don’t do that or recommend it.
Do not try to contact Wives or Girlfriends, or Partners
WHY?
Victims are vulnerable and the pictures owner is not like the person imagined.
Significant others will think you love the photo and the dream. You may get abuse and you will not like it.
They could be totally unpleasant and resent disturbance of privacy and intrusions into their private life.
If thousands of irate and misguided women contacted them how would they feel?
How would a partner feel if their other half got thousands of love letters or accusations.
You merely contacted another scammer profile because you are ignorant.

**(2). DO NOT BAIT SCAMMERS! Leave it for experts. Scambaiters do this to get information from scammers and waste their time, so they have no time for victims. Scambaiters know how to hide personal information when dealing with scammers.
DO NOT PLAY GAMES WITH SCAMMERS!
If you are in contact with this scammer, block him and do not contact him again and tell him nothing!
